Digital Literacy Through Blogging and Multimedia Writing
Sample Lesson 1: How to Start a Blog Safely and QuicklyGrading Information – How Your Work will be Assessed (and contact information)
The Grading Process
Because this lesson/course is based on projects that are integrated with real-life situations, the only quizzes or “exams” that you will get are formative. In other words, they don’t count for marks. Instead, they help you, the student, to form your own personal learning strategy to use over the course of the semester.
For today’s lesson, only your participation will be assessed. Therefore, just make sure you do all the surveys and contribute your ideas and thoughts in the padlets, etc., and your Participation mark for this week’s online lesson will be fine.
Of course, because this is a productive PBL course, most of your grades will be based on your major projects. For information on those aspects of your overall grade for the course, please consult your syllabus or check with your instructor. For an example on how your blogs will be graded–after all the blog requirements have been assigned to you–feel free to click/tap on the toggle below.
